These trays were amazing when I bought 2 Petsafe litter boxes 6 years ago. 1 cat with box upstairs and down. For probably the past 2 years the quality of the refill box and litter has noticeably declined in quality. I bought this because I’m willing to pay more for the awesome convenience of not scooping daily and the fantastic ease of changing the litter tray. I still love the product, but the refills now leak and I have to put it on a plastic tray; the amount of litter in the bag is probably half the amount it was and I have to keep an extra bag of the same litter just to fill a new tray up properly because the instructions used to specify an inch thick; the poop trapper adhesive glue does not stay, the top flap gets soiled completely and the poop juice leaks through the flap, the flap is flimsy, and it holds a lot less poop than before to where I have to take the top and plastic cover off to reach the poop holder and scoop the poop out within the first two weeks. I bought this because I didn’t mind paying more for the amazing set it and forget it for a month convenience as well as the ease of changing the litter. I don’t like the reusable plastic tray—it’s not convenient. I have ONE cat and I can’t even get 50 uses without the smell starting and the need to change.
She’s TEN pounds, so it’s not like I have Garfield or am illegally keeping a freaking jaguar in my house. What gives? PLEASE go back to the old quality! I’m on my knees begging!!!!! I’ve had enough of the poop juice!

How should the rake work?

No dust, great absorption BUT I’m still getting odor. I’ve only had the unit a week and I’m not sure I have it set up right.. It is trapping the stool
BEhind the movable rake. Hmmm shouldn’t it go under cardboard section?
