Q: Will it let the pine pellets fall through and “catch” the poop?

- A: Thank you for your question! The Petmate Metal Cat Litter Scoop is designed with slotted openings that allow clean litter to fall through while catching clumps of waste. However, pine pellets are larger and less uniform than traditional clumping litter, so while the scoop will allow smaller pellets to fall through, it may not separate them as efficiently as it does with standard litter. If you’re using pine pellets, you may need to shake the scoop gently to let the pellets fall through while retaining the solid waste.5 months agoHelpful?

Love This Scoop!

Wish I had found this scoop years ago! I've always used the plastic scoops (some being better than others), but they would not always pick up the wet litter in one scoop. That one wet scoop would separate scattering the wet litter everywhere. Problem solved! My new Petmate Scoop picks up ALL the wet litter at one time! I've never had a scoop that worked this well in clumping litter! I love my Petmate scoop! Thank you for a great product!

Ive had cats since the 90s and scooping poop is part of the job. I used the plastic models for years and it steses your elbo joint because you will break it. The first time I used this one I laughed. It's like going from a cheap tool set to a snap on for a few bucks more.

Upgrade from flimsy plastic cat poop scoopers. Bigger and stronger. Fits better in hand. Cleaner job outcome.
