The Permatex General Purpose Thread Sealant is an economical and general-purpose fitting sealant. The general purpose thread sealant outperforms tapes and pipe dopes. This thread sealant also seals and resists pressure in air, oil, diesel fuel and hydraulic systems.

  • Easy to use and non drip formula for convenience
  • Thread sealant is effective up to 5000 PSI
  • Good heat-resistance for durability
  • Temperature range 65 degrees F to 300 degrees F (-54 degrees C to 204 degrees C)
  • Outperforms tapes and pipe dopes
  • Seals and resists pressure in air, oil, diesel fuel and hydraulic systems
  • Remains pliable at higher and lower temperatures
  • Temperature range of 65 degrees F to 300 degrees F (-54 degrees C to 149 degrees C)
