The Perky-Pet Grand Master Feeder features six feeding ports, a wide-mouth design and holds 48 fl oz of nectar. The Grand Master truly is the Granddaddy of them all. With its large capacity for nectar, hummingbirds from all over the neighborhood will be flocking to your house! The clear, shatter resistant plastic reservoir makes it easy to monitor nectar levels. The wide-mouth design allows for easy refilling and cleaning and unscrews easily from the feeder base for quick cleaning and filling. Remember to clean your feeder at least twice a week, more often in very warm climates or seasons.

Q: How does the bottom open? Does the Entire base come off for cleaning or do you have to pry it apart?

Q: Do the flowers lock into this? On one I had, the flowers just spun and it leaked horribly.

The clear plexiglass is thinner and a lower quality. The flowers also do not lock into place, meaning they will attract bees later in the season. My last set (of 12) lasted over 12 years before they started to craze. I don't expect these to last more than a year or two. Perky Pet, you have really gone downhill.
