If some of your lawn receives sun and other parts receive moderate shade, Pennington Smart Seed Sun & Shade offers the perfect mix of Tall Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass and Fine Fescue to survive these conditions. This sun and shade grass seed mix is disease resistant and drought tolerant and contains just the right amount of fertilizer to help your lawn succeed. In areas of your lawn that receive 4 to 6 hours of sun daily, plant this grass seed mix in the early spring or early fall and see results in 8 to 21 days. This 20-pound bag covers up to 6,660 square feet for overseeding an existing lawn and 2,220 square feet for starting a new lawn from scratch. What makes Smart Seed smart? Q: Will this produce a thicker blade of grass
9 months ago- A: Hi Jeff- This mix is a combination of Tall Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass and Fine Fescue. This will create a thick, full lawn because the different grasses fill in gaps and spread. However, it won’t be as uniformly thick bladed as a 100% Tall Fescue lawn, which has consistently wide blades. If you have any questions, please give us a call at 1-800-285-7333. Thank you!9 months agoHelpful?
