Side Effects

Potential side effects include:

• Mucosal irritation
• Loose stool
• Diarrhea
• Allergic reaction, including hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, tongue, or lips

• Optimal dosage levels have not been established, but oral supplementation using fat-soluble vitamins is widely recommended and accepted.
• In cats and dogs with pancreatic insufficiency, serum concentrations of fat-soluble vitamins E, D3, and A are typically sub-normal. In these cases, these levels may not increase solely in response to enzyme treatment.
