This is a bit pricey, but my Nethie loves it. He hides in, but hay in it is sort of a messy ordeal. After trying a few times, we just kept the hay to his hay bin. It's just the right size for him and it doesn't take up too much real estate in his enclosure. Overall, I'm satisfied. I would have given 5 stars if it were a little less expensive.

Not good for chinchillas!!!! I bought this for our two chins as it looked like a great way to keep the hay off the floor and it was a fail. Rodents are chewers. All rodents chew…they chewed the joints slots and the entire thing collapsed. This is strike two on Oxbox hideouts. The green fabric hide is even worse. The wooden hide here is made of plywood which we know isn’t safe when chewed. It claims to be safe and it isn’t. The chins could have been hurt if one had been inside when collapsed. Poor design. Poor materials! Come on, Oxbow.

Easy to put together and my rabbit loves it. He hides in it as well as stands on top.
