So,I read the reviews on here after buying a couple of these at the store. These are not for splitting wood. These are for throwing. I knew it just by looking at them they were made for throwing. I was never an axe throwing person, but with these...I feel like a pro. So much that I bought 10 of these and made an tomohawk area in my yard. Now we have games on weekends with friends and neighbors seeing who is the most accurate. My daughter who has 2 left feet at anything sports related can even throw these. And they stick well too. They bury deep in the tree slabs we cut to use at a target. We can even remove the handles and throw 2 at a time. They are so well balanced that you can stack 2 together and land it. The person who designed these understood balance because we can even change yardage distance and still throw them competently. To all of those on here who bought them for labor...you're using them wrong. They aren't meant for work....they are meant to be utilized for throwing. Which they do very well.

Broke within 5 hits on young pines while we were doing t.s.i project. Would not reccomend at all.
