Sizing wrong

Sizing is way out of line. I am 87 and have worn size 10 most of my adult life. These slippers Re marked size 10 wide. I have two other brands that need replacing that are marked size 10 wide. They fit fine. This pair i was unable to get my foot into even with the help of my granddaughter. This pair is the same as my old ones.
