Threw away in 4 days

Tossed these in the trash in 4 days after buying them. I wanted a gadden around the yard & town shoe. These seemed to fit the bill being spring time, working in yard, I was attracted by water proof and made in USA. This Slogger Shoe Size 12 with ankle socks on was an uncomfortable fit. Very cramped. I just bought a size 12 set of Georgia Men’s Boots in January that fit great. I tried just going barefoot doing yard work. The shoe slips sideways off your feet while you walk. When you pull your barefoot out of it, the insole comes with it. It has huge treads on it and tracks a ton of caked mud the next morning when you walk around your kitchen. I debated donating them to Good Will, but due to the poor performance, I wouldn’t even wish that upon a poor person. I tossed them in the trash.

Dry feet vs. wet feet

I bought these shoes for my son, he works at a golf course and he is in golf cart maintenance. He washes the carts when the golfers return the carts when they are finished. He says his feet are dry and they are comfortable. His co workers wear sneakers and always have wet feet.

Not easy to slip on

Not the ease of slipping my foot in as I was lead to believe. The heal portion of the shoe is weak (flimsy) so I have to bend down and use my finger or shoe horn to pop the heal shoe leather up. To get my foot in the shoe. My very old Sloggers heal section is much thicker and sturdy so it has always stayed in place. Make the Sloggers into a truly hands free slip on by reinforcing the heal weak area.
Sole is thick so it should last until I find a better garden shoe.
