Great for Squash Trellising!

I bought one panel last summer for my squash trellis. This cattle panel couldn't have been any more perfect for the job! It's sturdy enough to hold hanging squash but flexible enough to bend into an arch and anchor onto a wooden frame we built. The price is unbeatable compared to some of the specialized trellis's you can buy at garden centers, and in my opinion this panel is far superior.

NOT made of 4 Guage wire as stated on TSC website

I purchased this panel last week expecting to see a product made with 4-guage galvanized steel wire, as stated in your product listing. It is actually made with what appears to be 8-guage wire; which, is about half the thickness of 4-guage wire. The panel still worked for my project; but, the description is very misleading.

Perfect Arch

This turned out better than expected. I have been playing with the idea of getting a formal arch in my vegetable garden to grow things on but I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to something super pricey. I figured I'd order this and see if it's something I indeed wanted in my garden. To make this disappear into the landscape, I spray painted it black and affixed t-posts on both sides to create an arch before planting. I believe it turned out beautiful. I can't wait for the squash plants to grow up over the fixture and hopefully keep them safe from disease and pests. I absolutely love the look and I don't think I need to invest in the $700 trellis that I had my eye on. This works just fine! I would highly recommend for any other urban gardeners that want to save a buck.
