Q: My 11 yrsr old Boxer is taking Proin 50 mg twice a day for his urinary incontinence. It does not seem to help much. He has been on it for over two weeks. Can I use this product in conjunction with it.? Will they both work together to help.?

- A: Urinary incontinence is a very complicated condition and can be due to a myriad of causes. It is most likely a hormonal insufficiency and can usually be corrected by estrogen containing problems such as Prion. However, there is no reason not to try Nutri-Vet’s Bladder Control product, although you should discuss the situation with your veterinarian who may want to increase the dosage or frequency of the prescribed medication.7 years agoHelpful?

significant help with bladder leakage

1st used this with my older Pit-Boxer who had inoperable bladder cancer, with major incontinence. After a few weeks, noticed the problem was significantly improved - enough he no longer needed doggie diapers (which he hated). When my aging spayed female Sheltie developed some age-onset bladder leakage issues, I put her on this supplement. In 2 weeks, all leakage has ceased. No more diapers. My vet was going to put her on hormone treatments if this didn't work, but was not needed. Vet wanted to know what I used... NutriVet Bladder control supplements. I give my dog this every day, and so far no more leakage problems.
