We did not use this for a bunny, we used this for our bearded dragon and it’s absolutely perfect! We’ve recommended it to a few friends for their Beardies.

Another Impractical Bunny/Small Animal Hutch

We've had little fellows of many forms - bunnies, guinea pigs etc, and as the Mum, I have been cleaning them all the while. There's no possible way I could count the number of hutches we have tried, and either by way of cheap materials, or inane design, tried to reimagine or just gave up on.
This one...
- no possible place to attach a water bottle - not one - all the sides are solid
- while you can use a liner or pee-pad on the bottom drawer level, there's no way to clean the levels, esp the little covered area
- EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE FOR SOMETHING SO IMPRACTICAL - and will require we add aspects - if we can, that will remedy these flaws

Great for Beginners

I've raised meat rabbits outdoors for years but my daughter wanted to keep one as a pet inside the house. After a few months the cottontail outgrew his hamster sized cage. This is a great long term habitat easy to clean. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it requires a splash guard under the pen and the boards need a sealant on the edges to keep it clean. I bought a extra large cage tray to go under the pen. You'll also want a litter box with a splash guard to keep urine off the walls. It stains very easily.

Nice Hutch. I think it will serve quite well for my bunnies. They probably will outgrow it pretty quickly. No fault of Tractor Supply, but it was damaged during shipment. Two of the corners were busted and there is a crack along the top on one side in the back panel but it's nothing I can't work with. Very easy to assemble. I think it would work best for small animals like a guinea pig or hamsters if you have more than one. Lots of space then. Decent construction. I like the material that it is made from. Not thrilled with the plastic screws that are used to put it together though. I think real screws would be better. Overall not a bad product.

Attention Parents: no one ever thinks do used tractor supply for urban area, pets, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. I have spent thousands on cages, and finally, when she is 16 years old and able to use the Internet herself, lol, she finds the perfect cage! And it would fit all the animals I have ever gotten her. 😁
