- A: Hi, all products come in flat pack. It was super easy to put together. We recommend 2 people and 45 minutes. And you just need to prepare a hand screwdriver or cordless drill. All of our cages will come flat packed – It came with a sufficient pictorial manual. Screws were in marked plastic bags. Panels are stamped and come ready to be screwed together. Many have dowel rods that fit nicely into pre-drilled holes(pre-drilling will prevent any cracks and preserve sturdiness while keeping wood intact).3 years agoHelpful?

Poor Quality

Some of the wood was splintering and peeling when we opened the box. Putting together was easy, have had it about two weeks will be surprised if it lasts a year. Pull out drawer gets stuck. Overall would not buy again.

Nice personal & food hutch

It is a good hutch if you are just looking for a place for food and sleep.
It is not Pest Proof a fox could knock it over. You would want it inside an inside an animal proof pen.
We purchased to go inside a chicken pen that just need a shelter & protect its food . It’s good for that. And light enough I can move it around.
But don’t purchase it as it’s shelter house by itself!

Only 4 stars as the easy clean mats are two pieces and are a downfall. The hutch is light enough to lift off the mats, which makes me wonder why they just do not come with a tray, and an option for for a second tray to just swap out when cleaning. Speaking of lightweight, I would not recommend using this outside. A coyote or Raccoon could tear into this in .5 seconds. Not built strong enough to ward of any predator's at all. But for on a porch or inside its perfect, minus the "easy clean", that could use some work.

Instructions were straightforward and was easy to assemble. Works great to integrate my 9 week old chickens with the rest of the flock. It's a little flimsy, but worth the money.
