An excellent choice for foundation plantings, hedges, or lining a fence or wall, National Plant Network Holly Dwarf Yaupon accents the landscape with glossy green foliage. Developing a gently spreading habit as it matures, this compact evergreen is the ideal shrub for nearly any landscape application. Its petite foliage emerges without spines in a reddish tint before maturing to a rich green shade, and its tiny white blossoms open in spring. In fall, ornamental red fruits develop, adding late-season interest to the landscape. This dwarf Yaupon holly tree tolerates drought and salt spray better than most shrubs, making it ideal for dry climates and coastal areas.

- A: Hello - As long as your ground is not freezing and you are not expecting freezing temperatures for an extended period of time, they should be OK. Great price for good plant

Plants arrived full and healthy. As one reviewer noted, the plants might be a bit smaller than expected from the size of the pot, but the price is still amazing compared to everywhere else. I'd say the larger ones are about 2 to 3 years more growth than the 2.5 quart ones, so it's up to you what thats worth. Also, plants bought at the beginning of the season, from any vendor, tend to be smaller than at the end of the season, so it might be worth waiting a but later in the summer or fall to buy.
One thing I have to say for TSC: the packaging for plants is the beat of any ive recieved in the mail. The plants are sexure and intact without my needing several different tools to get them out. And the giant twist ties are great for other projects. 5+ stars on packaging!

I'm pleased I was able to get this plant shipped to my local Tractor Supply. I had contacted nurseries and other sources I've used in the past without success. Since I am adding to an existing hedge, I needed this particular shrub.
