It has dark green, almost black leaves with red veins. Its new growth will emerge red and as it matures will darken. Make sure to plant this Ficus in well-drained soil since they don't like to sit in water. When grown indoors, this variety can grow 4-6 ft. tall. If grown in more tropical environments, Ficus Burgundy can grow up to 40 ft. tall.
