Perfect replacement for my wore out part. Easy to install.

Works great . A lot of people complained about this part only because they did not understand. I read the reviews a lot of debris that flows up onto your deck is from your spindles for your blades. This thing works good. I’m happy but I understand how they work. It seems that most of the reviews I read didn’t understand how the part works and how the tractor works. As one reviewer said I added zip ties to the bottom because debris does slip by it. Big deal zip ties fixed it for the price well worth the price.

As stated in another review "fits but doesn't fit" is 100% accurate. I have a 46" deck. yes, it installs and technically it "fits" however this particular sku ONLY includes the plug and NOT the mounting hardware. Specifically the metal bracket which helps hold this thing on. Online there is a modification for this using zip ties. Place the plug on the unit, then from inside the deck score the plug by tracing the lower line of the output chute. Then drill small holes on that line. Using the zip ties secure the bottom half of the plug to the deck. This solution only solves the lower half of the plug. The upper half still blows clippings from around the plug. It does not fit when blades are spinning. The pressure from the mulch blades forces clippings out around the plug AS WELL AS every other hole on the deck. I'm not satisfied with this part, but there is literally no other solution besides complete fabrication. If you are a fabricator, you could make some side money by building a plug kit which actually works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits, but doesnt fit. Keeps popping out and blowes the mulched up grass all over. Otherwise, fast shipping, and is the right part, just a tad small. Woild recomend and then just modify it a little to fit.
