Q: Does this torch have a pilot light that stays burning until you shut the gas valve off? I just want to know if every time I let go of the handle that controls/allows the flame if the flame goes out completely or does a small flame remain keeping it ready

Even though some said it doesn't work well I bought one. For the first 10 minutes they were right. Then I went to YouTube and found a video, it works without any problem once you turn the gas on the tank really slow the light it. After 1 hour of perfect running I only have to relight it once. Works great!

First time I used it seemed ok. Second time I could barely get a flame to come out of it. Lack of pressure or something. Messed with it for 15 minutes then threw it in the trash that’s about all it is good for

This product is great, but follow instructions!

Works great! But, you have to learn how to adjust your fuel source incoming pressure (almost nothing - maybe open tank valve 1/4” to 1/2” at the tank) AND THEN adjust the wand output “gently”. Getting those two correct is a learning process. However, once you set it up “correctly” before you light it, and find the right output volume from your propane tank, it really ROCKS for the money! Be patient. Took me maybe 10 full minutes to get the combination correct and make the wand into a jet engine exhaust.
