Hidden costs and limitations.

Requires expensive subscription which is not shared in the product information on the box or anywhere else until you set up the product. also requires self-service, so it doesn't work for many remote locations.

I own 2 of the Solar Edge type cameras. Pro’s: Easy set-up, mounting and connection, nice adjustments for how often pictures can be taken and sent. Solar batteries last approx. 4-6 weeks before having to recharge them. Cons: Poor design with battery on the bottom and no cover, I have to zip tie the batteries so they make connections and wish there was a way of turning the camera off, so while I am working it is not taking pictures.

I have used several different camera and these by far are the best I have ever used. Once get settings configured to the spot your on coast I have not replaced battery since deer season and its turkey time in Alabama.
