Works but needs direct all day sunlight

The camera works well, but the camera mounting location has to point in a direction that allows the solar to face the sun all day. A tree that gets morning sun, is not a good location as the sun moves away from direct. The solar panel is not removable, only adjustable. if I knew this before now, I would have purchased and different model with the external solar panel.
This could have been placed on the packaging and promote an up-sale, but now i am disgruntled and don't want to spend money on another camera and the separate solar panel.

Battery Life not good

Bought this to use over a feeder area with a lot of wildlife traffic. It has been set up for 4 months now and the battery life is just not good. I bought a second battery pack to switch out but im having to swap every 4-5 days. It is in direct sunlight and my setting are set to the recommended for maximum battery life. I like the camera and the moultrie app but I do not like the battery life. Not sure if I would buy again.
