Mazuri Small Bird Maintenance Diet is a complete bird food for small Psittacine and passerines. This nutritionally complete small bird food, formulated in multi-sized particles, can be used as the primary diet for nonbreeding birds.

  • Multi-sized extruded form - Varying particles provide enrichment. Extruded form prevents sorting of ingredients and helps reduce the risk of nutrient deficiencies.
  • Better than pellets - less fines and increased digestibility.
  • Better than seeds - Less waste (20-50% of seed weight is hulls).
  • Reduced diet preparation - Less time chopping fruit and veggies.
  • Formulation allows for supplementation with species appropriate food items - Can include up to 20% (by weight) of diet as produce, seeds, etc. to encourage natural feeding behaviors and for training and enrichment.
  • No added colors or artificial flavors.

A very good food mix.A great value

I have various sizes of parrots. This is a great quality component for small birds but I have bigger ones too so I end up mixing my own. Doesn’t have the seeds I know to steer clear of that other blends use for cheap filler. I will buy again.

Shipped wrong item.

I did not get what I ordered. I was delivered exotic turtle food. I opened it thinking it was the small bird feed I had ordered because the front was a plain white and did not see it was turtle food. I gave it away. This is the second time items not shipped correctly. Probably won't shop online with Tractor Supply again.

Used as daily parrot food during non breeding season. Smaller size pellets than parrot so there is less food waste.
