Mazuri Small Bird Diet is a complete bird food for small psittacines and passerines. This nutritionally complete small bird food, formulated in multi-sized particles, can be used as the primary diet for nonbreeding birds.

Multi-sized extruded form - Varying particles provide enrichment. Extruded form prevents sorting of ingredients and helps reduce the risk of nutrient deficiencies.
Better than pellets - Less fines and increased digestibility.
Better than seeds - Less waste (20-50% of seed weight is hulls).
Reduced diet preparation - Less time chopping fruit and veggies.
Formulation allows for supplementation with species appropriate food items - Can include up to 20% (by weight) of diet as produce, seeds, etc. to encourage natural feeding behaviors and for training and enrichment.
No artificial colors or flavors.
Natural sources of pigments and antioxidants.

My birds love it!

Good product, my medium size parrots and hook bills love it. Very little mess and no waste compared to seed and others. The birds love it!

Great for weaning baby birds

I use this to start my baby birds on pellets. No artificial coloring, softer than other pellets and great ingredients. My older birds enjoy this too.

Birds perk with Mazuri pellets

Along with other Mazuri products, I set out Mazuri Small Bird Maintenance for the balance of what tropical birds need. They seem to miss in the cage what Mazuri packs into the pellets. I recommend them with full assurance for Mockingbirds, Tanagers, and Blackbirds. Birds in captivity can not live on fresh fruit alone. Even the troublesome Golden bellied Grosbeak relishes the Mazuri pellet food and has come into full plumage.
