MaxxAirHeavy-Duty Exhaust Fan with Integrated Shutter, 14 in. Blade is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not 14" The fan is actually less than 14" and the fan housing is greater than 15". The box opening is listed nicely on the website, but you may need to know what size the circular fan housing actually is for those DIY individuals. If you are going to cut a square in a wall and mount the fan and be done, you have all the required info. If you need to cut a circle that the fan housing penetrates through, then cut a 15.5-16" hole. There is actually nothing on this product that measures 14"... not the depth, the fan, or the housing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my hatching barn. I bought this to create a negative pressure area in the barn for hatching and brooding chicks. Medium speed keeps the air flowing out of the barn, as well as all the fine dust from newly hatched chicks. This keeps the debris from collecting on all the farm equipment. Perfect and powerful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fan is AWESOME. .....I needed to clear MIG welding fumes out of a 2.5 car garage. I fit this fan up at the top of the wall at the ceiling apex and it clears all smoke out of the building effectively. Highly recommended!

Is there a cover made for the side of the fan thats on the in doors? I am Having a house built with an attached shop. The electrician has installed the fan but for safety I need a cover on the inside.

Asked by: Dave73
There should be a finger guard, or grille, on the indoor side of the fan that will prevent anything from coming in contact with the blade. If your unit is missing this grille please contact our customer service department at (800) 433-1626
