The MaxPower 2 Blade Commercial Mulching Set for 42 in. MTD is sized for MTD, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt and Craftsman mowers. Each blade measures 21-3/16 in. L and 3 in. W with a 6 point star center hole. Commercial mulching blades feature greater cutting surface for increased mulching performance, sharpened cutting teeth for a precision cut, and a centrifugal air lift design for uniform chopping distribution. Maxpower mulching blades are manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Better than OEM blafes

Fit perfectly on my Cub Cadet 42 inch zero turn mower. The blades are wider and slightly heavier than oem blades. I really like that the primary cutting surface is flat rather the undulating so it is much easier to sharpen than original mulching blade. It cuts great and seems to mulch better with less clumping and better distribution of clippings. Well worth the cost so far.

Installed this set on a troy-bilt 42". They are very noisy and don't cut any better than a narrower mulching blade, they do mulch ok.
