The alligator clips are ok most tractors or atvs now have plugins like a cigarette lighter. I modified mine to work through my plug in, very handy. The alligator clips were too short to reach the battery on my Kubota anyway.

We are extremely pleased with this purchase. We are both 70, so packing the old 2 gallon tank sprayer is becoming more arduous as time goes by. This trailer mounted tank sprayer, pulled behind my John Deere S240 mower, accomplished the job, that took me 6+ hours last time, in less than an hour and a half.

Doesn’t really put out a 7ft swath. More like 4 ft. And if going downhill spray doesn’t come out because the intake is in the rear of the tank.

The unit was easy to assemble and pulled behind a zero turn usually. The unit was easy to fill and had good markings for gallons of overall content. It seemed to spray evenly and was discharging spray at a rate that seemed comparable to square feet calculations. It has both automatic spray behind the unit at approximate 6 to 7 feet wide swath and handheld sprayer for getting into small places. Changing from one spray method to the other is fairly easy. The only concern I have is that the cabling for the on/off switch would be better if it was 2 feet longer from the pump to where you set on the mower so that you don’t have to reach back so far to turn the switch on and off. Otherwise it worked well and was relatively easy to clean up and also easy to store.
