The M-D Platinum Expandable Foam Weatherseal protects against drafts, moisture, dust and insects. Perfect for uneven and oddly-shaped gaps, the expandable foam slowly expands to fill the gap as needed. Save on energy by sealing the home and keeping the heat or air conditioning from escaping. When 80% compressed the product provides a watertight seal. Simply peel the liner and stick to the desired surface. Before installation, cut to desired length by using scissors.

  • Slow expanding foam seal for irregular seams and joints
  • Seals to protect against drafts, moisture, dust and insects
  • Watertight seal when 80% compressed
  • Made of open cell foam
  • Provides seal for uneven gaps
  • 20 ft. L x 1/2 in. W x 1/2 in. H
  • Black color
  • Self-adhesive for easy application
  • Paintable
  • Indoor or outdoor use
  • Cut to desired length with scissors
  • Expands from 1/8 in. to 1 in. in height
  • Allow 24 hours for full expansion
  • If desired, apply heat from a hair dryer to installed material to accelerate expansion
  • Common uses include: Baseboards, attic hatches, pipes and any exterior trims
