Lodge Cast Iron is always an excellent choice. I bought this as a gift for my daughter in law, and she was delighted. Lodge cookware is made to last a lifetime. I don't personally own the Dutch oven, but have several sizes of the frying pans. They are my go to every day.

Other reviews mention using this only outdoors, although this is technically an indoor dutch oven or "bean pot". I used a pot like this over the open fire for many years before I got a camp dutch oven with legs. This works great indoors or out and Lodge quality can't be beat. Do yourself a favor and mix up some cobbler this winter and throw this right in your oven. You are missing out if you only use this when you go camping.
