Loctite Power Grab Express Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is a premium quality, high strength, gap-filling adhesive for both indoor and outdoor projects. This construction adhesive has 0 second instant grab. This extremely high tack adhesive reduces the need for bracing with nails and screws in many DIY projects and repair jobs and is repositionable for 15 minutes with a cure time of 12 hours. Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty is both weather resistant and paintable. The adhesive has a very low odor and requires only soap and water to clean up. This makes it safe, easy to use and environmentally friendly. Loctite Power Grab Express Heavy Duty is also third party GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified and GREENGUARD Certified for Children and Schools.

Q: Will this work on linolium to wood

  • A: Thank you for your question. Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive will not harm linoleum; however, this product is not rated as a traffic-bearing adhesive for floor applications and is therefore not recommended for the application described.

Q: wil this product stick to steel

  • A: Thank you for your question. Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is a latex, water-based product and requires at least one surface to be porous. If both substrates being bonded are non-porous, such as metal to metal, this product is not recommended, as the adhesive will not cure properly.

Q: Will this work on an outdoor surface that can get as cold as 20 to 250 degrees farenhite?

  • A: Thank you for your question. Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive must be applied and cured above 50°F. Once cured, the service temperature range is 0°F to 122°F.

Q: Will this product hold wood to cinderblock cement walls? I want to attach a piece of wood to my cinderblock cement basement. I want to use it so I can put hooks in there to hang things up. With that hold it.?

I used it on my bathroom remodel and it worked great on sealing everything up. It cured evenly and has held up well against moisture and temperature changes, making it a reliable choice for household projects.

Great for fast easy fix

I used it to secure some tiles that had come loose over time. You use it the same as you do caulk, and is about the same texture as it too, just put it in the caulk gun and apply pressure with the trigger and spread it over the desired area. It took around 24 hours for it to stabilize.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is not recommended for use in or around a fire pit, for safety reasons. This product is not flammable once fully cured however the heat generated from the fire pit will cause the adhesive to melt. Mortar is the only product that should be used in or near a fire pit.
