- A: This model is not designed to cut PVC. We recommend using SKU #3146732 which is a PVC cutter that can cut ½- 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe.6 years agoHelpful?

Good for the price

For occasional use this cutter is fine. If you are a professional plumber you might want to get a higher quality, higher priced tool but for the average home handyman this is fine. I used it to cut some 1/4" copper tubing for a propane manifold and it worked as well as I could hope for. No complaints and it was several dollars cheaper than the offerings of the local big-box stores.
Yes, I recommend this product.
