The crash tested harness that nods to comfort. The Enhanced Strength Tru-Fit Smart Harness design and all steel nesting buckle system is based on the same safety engineering for harnesses used by rock climbers and linesmen. With five adjustment points, it's easy to get a near-custom fit for any dog, regardless of size and proportions. The padded chest plate helps disperse energy and reduce injury in the event of an impact crash. With two leash attachment points - one in the front and a second in the back - the harness is comfortable enough for every day use.

I'd recommend sizing up on this harness, but the Kurgo team was incredibly helpful and the harness is working great so far.

I absolutely love these harnesses! They’re incredibly comfortable and versatile, making them perfect for my Aussie. I use them daily for walks, and they also work seamlessly with our car setups, including a booster seat and a pupsaver seat. For quick trips, it’s super convenient to secure them safely in the back seat without any hassle.

I first purchased a Sleepypod harness which is a lot more money based on reviews. I did not like it at all. I returned it. You put the seatbelt through the side straps. I feel that if we get into a crash the seatbelt would apply pressure to his back. Also a pain if your seat belt locks after being pulled out some. You can't buckle it then. The Kurgo has the 10 inch strap with carabiner which works much better. It also has steel buckles which I believe is much better than plastic. My pup is a 50 lb Australian Shepherd.
