Great unit and well worth the money!

Excellent product. It puts my mind at ease having it in the room with my gas hot water and gas furnace. I tried setting it off while outdoors using my gas powered backpack leaf blower. I set the unit approximately 10 feet away and after a few moments, it sensed carbon monoxide and the alarm went off, while in open air, outdoors. Impressive. It is compact and out of the way mounted on the furnace intake in close proximity to the furnace exhaust in the event of a leak. Maintenance free and again, peace of mind!

Nice carbon monoxide alarm!

I really like this carbon monoxide alarm. It is the perfect size for my room. I installed it with double sided tape so I can use it in another room if I need to. It was very loud when I tested it. It is very easy to understand what the lights mean.

Easy set up!

Perfect little carbone monoxide detector. It’s easy to install, or you can just leave it setting on a counter top. It gives multiple warnings and even lets you know when it needs to be replaced after 10 years.

Portable and lightweight

The Kidde carbon monoxide alarm is lightweight and battery operated so it’s easily moved around the home. I placed it in the living room since that’s where my fireplace is. It will definitely bring peace of mind whenever the fireplace is used. This alarm comes with two AA batteries that supposedly last up to a year. Overall, this alarm will be useful no matter where you go due to the portability and battery operation. As for the effectiveness of the carbon monoxide alarm, that remains to be determined after prolonged use.
