I was quite excited to use this for my older senior horse, when i got it and saw how much sand like powder he would have to eat twice a day, he did eat most of his meal so i added sweet feed to help still wasnt a fan. Wish i knew it was a very fine powder before buying.

It's working very well. I can see a difference after 2 weeks.

We are rescue and we get a lot of skinny horses. However we got a big draft horse that needed special diet. We discovered that he had epsm and cannot process starches or sugars for energy so he needed high-fat low-carb diet. This supplement has high calories and 50% from fat! It help the draft put weight on in a matter of weeks! I was also able to speak to the company and ask more questions I can't say enough about their willingness to share their knowledge was phenomenal! Love this product you won't go wrong! I do recommend that you put a little vegetable oil on some kind of a pelleted feed and then put this powder on to make it stick to something so doesn't wind up at the bottom of the bowl.
