RustSeal is a high-performance, single part, ready-to-use, rust preventive coating. RustSeal is impervious to road salts and most every chemical. RustSeal flows out to a beautiful, rock-hard, tough ceramic-like coating that is tough to chip or scratch and will not crack or peel.A Gallon of RustSeal will cover 200 sq. ft. with 2 coats.

- A: Hi Chip1049! RustSeal is applied in three steps: degrease with KBS Klean, etch and prep with RustBlast, then brush or spray two coats of RustSeal at 2 mils each. Apply between 55 and 82 degrees F and allow 2 to 6 hours between coats. RustSeal cures by absorbing moisture from the air and forms a rock-hard, non-porous shell directly over rust.11 days agoHelpful?
