KBS Coatings Headlight Restore Kit

The KBS Headlight Restore Kit brings back fogged, yellowed, cloudy, and hazy headlight lenses on trucks, tractors, and cars, which makes a real difference for night driving and visibility. It includes 8 oz of KBS Klean, 4 oz of DiamondFinish Clear, a scuff pad, two brushes, nitrile gloves, a stir stick, and complete instructions, enough to restore 4 or more average size lenses. DiamondFinish Clear is a tough single component clear coat that brushes on without leaving brush marks and seals the lens with a hard, high gloss finish.Check the lenses first; some are too far gone and need replacing. Mix 1 part KBS Klean with 10 parts hot water, then wearing the gloves, dip the scuff pad in the solution and clean and scuff the entire lens to remove bugs, tar, wax, and road film. Take care not to scuff surrounding paint or chrome. Rinse thoroughly, towel off standing water, and let the lens air dry. Out of direct sun, stir DiamondFinish Clear thoroughly without shaking and brush on one liberal coat, working top to bottom in one direction without over brushing. It is typically dry to the touch in 1 to 2 hours; let it cure overnight before putting the lights back in service. One coat is normally enough, and a second coat can go on any time after 48 hours. Clean up right away with KBS number 1 Thinner or lacquer thinner.
