The KBS Clear Coat Sampler Kit has everything needed to prep and clear coat up to 12 sq ft. It contains 8 oz of KBS Klean, a concentrated water based cleaner and degreaser, and 4 oz of DiamondFinish Clear, a tough, high gloss, direct to metal clear coat. DiamondFinish Clear brushes on without leaving brush marks and stays flexible, so it holds up on polished metal, chrome, aluminum, trim, toolboxes, and bare steel you want to show off. It is UV stable on its own, but it does not block UV, so any color under it outdoors needs to be UV stable too.Clean the surface with KBS Klean, scrub, rinse, and dry completely. Stir DiamondFinish Clear thoroughly, do not shake, and apply at 50 F or warmer in thin, even coats with a quality brush. Let each coat dry about 2 hours to the touch and recoat after about 4 hours. Apply 2 coats for best protection. Clean up right away with KBS number 1 Thinner or lacquer thinner, since cured DiamondFinish Clear cannot be removed with solvent.
