    Very good, but not perfect on badly rusted tanks

    If there is a lot of rust, the cleaner and rust remover may not get the tank clean enough to coat. Per their own instructions, a second round of cleaner and rust remover may be needed. Online user recommendations suggest using a degreaser, followed by hydrochloric acid (battery acid), BEFORE using this kit on badly rusted tanks. I wish I would have followed that recommendation. I should have drilled a small hole in the top of my tank to pour out the excess coating, as my tank design didn't allow me to pour out much of the excess.
