This poultry drinker has been tested in sub-zero F temperatures to ensure your chickens will have ice-free water during those cold months. The easy-to-remove filter tray allows you to clean the water tray in seconds. No draining needed - just remove the filter tray and tap lightly or spray with water to remove debris. The spill-proof cap prevents you from losing half the tank trying to assemble it into the base. Thermo-Poultry 60 Watt Heated Chicken Waterer is made of opaque gray plastic, not a translucent material. You cannot see the water level change from the outside. To check the water level or refill the unit, you must lift the water tank off the base using the integrated handle, invert it, and unscrew the cap to access the fill opening.6 months agoHelpful?
