- A: Hi Neighbor- Reapplication: You will need to "recharge" the scent stone or pouch periodically (usually every few weeks) or after heavy rains to maintain its effectiveness. Placement tip: To reduce rain exposure, you can hang the scent unit perpendicular to the ground rather than laying it flat, or place it in shaded, sheltered areas.a month agoHelpful?

While both those animals will go after a can, it is not it's natural prey, (like bunnies, fox, deer, etc), so the beaver will not necessarily recognize the predator scent and will therefore not be afraid of it and avoid the area.2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Unfortunately this isn't for cats- it's more for natural prey of coyote and wolf. While both those animals will go after a can, it is not it's natural prey, (like bunnies, fox, deer, etc), so the cat will not necessarily recognize the predator scent and will therefore not be afraid of it and avoid the area.7 years agoHelpful?
