I bought this and used it today for the first time. As many other reviews mentioned I could not get it to spray the media. I was using Black Diamond medium grit which is bigger than this unit is made for. I'm new at this and didn't know better. I could see it pick up the media but it would not come out the nozzle. When I took off the nozzle there were no clumps or jammed material. I put a clear hose on so I could see what was happening and it filled the hose no problem but still wouldn't spray. I notice how the air nozzle inside the gun was very close to the screw on nozzle so I found a thin spacer and put it on the base of the removable nozzle to move it a little bit away, about 3/32nds from the inside nozzle. Immediately I had a working media blaster. I went through the whole 50 pound bag with never a problem. You do have to have a good compressor with lots of air flow. I used a large spring clamp to hold the end of the hose in the bucket with the media. I am sure it will work with a longer hose and will try that someday. For you people new to sand blasting your expectations may be better than reality as mine were. I have heavily rusted metal on a trailer. I found using a course wire wheel on a 4 inch grinder removes much more rust much faster than the blaster so just plan on using it in corners and other places the wheel can't reach if you have a similar project.

I've tried 3 other guns and this is the best one for shot delivery. Problem is that the nozzle doesn't last long and there is no replacement. So you will have to buy a new one every time. It would be great if they had a ceramic nozzle upgrade. Or at least have nozzle replacements available.
