- A: Step 1. Unscrew the Tail. Step 2.Place the batteries into the battery holder, then tighten the tail.(Battery holder has three sides, each side is same, +stnads for ANODE, -stands for CATHODE) Step 3. Put the battery holder into the flashlight.( put rhe battery holder into the flashlight like the directions of left) Step 4. Completed replacement battery, open the button to test fuction. Step 5. If the flashlight cant work normally, please double check the battery's Anode and Cathode directions in the battery holder for correct installation).9 months agoHelpful?

Another JS Tac-1000 light with leaky batteries

Nice light, however JS batteries that came with it leaked acid within 6 months. I went to replace batteries and discovered this. Corroded spring contacts on battery cartridge completely off making it useless. Makes me think it may have been in stock a long time and/or had been leaking for some time. Customer support was no help either! I received this as gift (don’t have receipt to replace or return), asked CS if I could just get a replacement cartridge, no help. So at this point it’s useless so I do not recommend this.

Don't waste your money!

It was a really nice, very bright flashlight for about all of 40 seconds. All the sudden just stopped. Wont turn on, replaced the batteries with all new ones and still won’t work. I do not recommend this flashlight!

I needed a duty light for my job, this particular light (I ordered by accident) is great for a trunk light. I wanted the smaller version, which has the same capabilities and durability. Good purchase nonetheless.
Has a high and low function, high for obvious higher viability and clarity, low for battery conserving. Even on low setting it shows through clean with the white LED. I rarely do reviews... it’s been roughly 2 weeks in and I enjoy it. Hate to say it, but I think this will replace my Old Reliable Mag...
