3-4 years ago this flashlight was good. Quality has gone down as of 2024. The most useful item that came with this flashlight was 2ft of paracord. I got this as a Christmas gift and when I opened it up, the light wouldn't turn on. So I unscrewed the battery access area and the two o-rings shredded apart instantly as I opened it. There was battery acid everywhere from the AAA "jobsmart" batteries that came pre-installed. Upon removing the AAA batteries, it was obvious that the thread clearance on the battery compartment was so tight that the threads actually cut into 3 AAA batteries and caused the battery acid to leak everywhere inside the compartment (machining tolerance error during manufacturing I guess?). I cleaned up the battery acid and installed brand new AAA's and the flashlight still doesn't light. Much of the metal and copper is corroded on the inside from the amount of battery acid that was in there (all 3 lower AAA batteries near the paracord end were sliced open from the threads), so the light is useless. 1 star for the paracord. Don't waste your money.

I bought this a little over a year ago while I was working maintenance at a touring cave. I’ve had this submerged in cold, fast-moving, gritty water for at least an hour. Smashed on rocks and dropped about 30 feet. It’s scratched up but still works fine. Since I’m no longer in that kind of work it has been retired to a very capable camp/truck flashlight.

The barrel needs to be adjusted "just right" or the light won't work. Low marks for quality

Received this flashlight for a Christmas gift. It is incredibly bright and built very solid. I am planning on purchasing more for my vehicles and work. Definitely recommend!!
