Q: Better than most tarps but UV resistance is a problem. Do you make a product that would be better for dealing with moisture, hot summers and high UV?

1 Answer
  • A: We do offer a canvas tarp that would hold up to UV during a longer timeframe but this also comes with disadvantages such as potential scratching of delicate surfaces. The canvas tarps are also more expensive. Unfortunately, we are not sure of your application for the tarp. As far as poly tarps go, the sku listed in the question is our highest rated against UV protection.

Check the package for broken grommets b4 you buy

I found a broken grommet in the sealed package just before I opened it! But I can't exchange it because I need it on the job. Stuck with a broken tarp.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Tarp is as advertised, worthwhile purchase.

Tarp is as advertised; I would buy it again for the same purpose. I used it to cover a travel trailer for the winter. I had it tied down with bungee cords and landscape stakes. I would give it 5 stars, bit it did rip at one grommet, so I knocked off one star. To be fair, it was under a fair amount of stress, given the amount of snow we had along with some windy days. Overall I'm happy with how it held up.

Horrible tarp

I use this tarp to cover a camper and the first wind storm we had. Started to tear the tarp at the tie down slots and it has continued to tear ever since.
