Use the JobSmart 6 ft. x 8 ft. Canvas Tarp for a variety of heavy-duty outdoor applications. Featuring a process-treated design, this canvas tarp is breathable to prevent rot and rust while providing water and weather protection. This heavy-duty tarp is made of 10 oz. single-filled cotton duck material and the grommets are made of stainless steel for added durability.WARNING: Wax finish on fabric may cause staining or bleeding onto items being covered. Not recommended for indoor use

- A: It is coated and waterproof. I use the larger tarps for my wood pile which is covered year round. The weight of this tarp isn’t bad at all, I bought 2 of these, wife covered my mowing deck with one and log splitter with the other.5 years agoHelpful?

Q: Why does this tarp smell overpoweringly like perfume? Even when it’s been on my equipment for 4 days you can smell the perfume odor coming off the tarp and polluting the air around it with awful perfume. What is that smell?

- A: The odor they smell is from the chemicals the mill uses to treat the fabric. The fabric is 100% natural cotton so some times the fabric will absorb more of the chemicals or hold the odor longer. Because it is 100% cotton I can’t tell you how long it will take for the odor to dissipate.6 years agoHelpful?

This tarp STINKS! As in it smells terrible. Other reviews have mentioned a terrible chemical smell and they're absolutely right.
