5 micron 10-in x 4.5-in polypropylene sediment melt blown filters. Dimensions: length 10-in, outer diameter 4.5-in, inner diameter 1-1/8-in, filter life: 10,000 gallons. Max operating pressure: 60 psi. CTO filter features usually used as second stage for the whole house filter. The carbon block filter is manufactured by continuous extrusion process. It consists of a high quality virgin premium performance activated carbon. It is effective in reducing free chlorine, bad taste, odor THM, organics, hazardous chemicals, and pesticides. Depending on inlet water quality or flow rate, it needs to be replaced every 6 months or 18,000 gallons of water. Fits standard 10 inch whole-house water filters.
