Bad odor & taste!

I bought the 6 filter system with the alkaline filter. I flushed the filters and ran two tanks of water through it before drinking it. The water smelled and tasted horrible. I flushed out the lines and filters again. Then I drank water right out of the bottom three filters. The water was fine. In fact, I couldn't taste the sodium from our soft water with just the bottom 3 filters. Next, I drank water coming out of the system in its complete form. I was awful again. I then took the alkaline filter out of the system and the water tasted good and was odorless.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great filter! It helps to add beneficial minerals back to my water and makes it taste better too!
