The posts have predrilled holes to assist in installing the panels in a straight line. - A: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, two Euro gates can be used together to make an 8' opening, however you would need a drop rod to keep the gate securely closed in the middle. Post is perfect for mounting on top of wooden rail/wall, but the hardware bolts could be 1/16-1/8” longer to make it easier to attach both sides of fencing to the posts.

These are well built posts to put the fence panels on with all the hardware safely stored inside the posts for shipping. Holes are drilled for straight line fencing and dimples are in the posts for corners. Very attractive combination of posts and panels.
