This Ironcraft Fences 4ft H x 5ft W Berkshire Aluminum Fence Gate provides an elegant and attractive solution to complete your aluminum fencing system. This aluminum fence gate is flat on the top and has exposed pickets on the bottom that provide a more secure enclosure. The metal driveway gate includes two gate hinges, one self-latching gravity latch and required mounting hardware. It is also compatible with the 4 ft. tall Berkshire fence panels. The 6 ft. tall Berkshire end/gate post is required for installation, model # 833633 (sold separately).

Q: How much does the hinge and fastener add to the width of th gate?

- A: Hello, Thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "The hinge and latch installation will add 1inch to the width. When it comes to the installation, the gate opening between posts should measure exactly 60 inches from inside edge of post to inside edge of post."a year agoHelpful?

Q: My existing black chain link fence needs an additional gate. would this work? It won't match in pattern (diamond vs vertical bars) would still connect to my existing posts? would this look dumb? or not?
