Ingersoll Rand All Season Select Lubricant is a diester-based synthetic lubricant formulated for use in Ingersoll-Rand reciprocating compressors. Designed to maintain optimal performance, this lubricant increases efficiency, reduces wear and prevents carbon build-up in your compressor. Diester-based synthetic lubricant is performs four times as long as petroleum-based lubricant. There is a recommended 2,000 hours of service between change-out of the All Season Select lubricant under normal operating conditions.

Might as well use the original lubricant that the machine was started with. The cost is higher than some other options but the frequency of changing for our usage is low, hence the cost of the product is insignificant if it improves the longevity of the equipment.

We currently have two Ingersoll Rand air compressors and maintain them properly. This is the only oil we use for them and we haven't had any problems with the compressors at all.
