- A: Hello, Thank you for your question. The base of this crate is made of Polypropylene which is a thermoplastic. While this is a very durable form of plastic, a dog would likely be able to cause damage with chewing.a year agoHelpful?

- A: Not sure why they did not design it without an optional top, but so far so good with mine. It is sturdy enough but not too heavy to move around etc, and I love the bottom pan. It makes for easy clean up if an accident happens. Hope this helps out!5 years agoHelpful?

Damaged.

The crate has not been delivered. Every time UPS gets it, it has been damaged, so UPS sends it back to the distributor. So far, that's happened twice.
