Husqvarna Mulch Kit for 48 in. Zero-Turn Mower

fits great, works fine, easy to install. but would like to be able to remove the regular grass deflector. And the blades are just regular blades, would like to see the double mulching blades

Everything came exactly as advertised and fits perfectly.

Needs Modification to Fit a Z248 mower. The side chute rests right on the attachment points and will break the plastic cover in a matter of seconds so you have to remove the chute. On my z248 the chute is not removable so it had to be cut off. The bolt holes for the underside attachment really dont line up well (brand new mower not dented). The underside attachment makes a very large cavity that grass gets stuck in even the hydro cleaner does not help clean it out just makes it moldy. You can remove the plastic cover and spray it out with air which is a pain but works. Doesnt really seem to mulch the clippings much though.

I had 2 of these blades break in half and fly out of the mower at separate times. Clearly a hardness issue, but they don’t care if no one gets hurt. Mowing lawns my whole life, never had a blade break once.
